台啤本季找到的洋將歐布萊恩，絕對是戰績進步的最大主因，他進攻技巧多變，對比賽的認知夠好，在場上有穩定軍心的作用，也讓人看見NBA樂透選秀的身價。

本土球員方面，今年拿下MVP的劉錚，技巧大有進步，處理球更細膩，他是一個天分很好的球員，又肯學習，去年除SBL季賽外，瓊斯盃和東亞運的洗禮讓他經驗大增，假以時日大有可為。

不像菜鳥的新人呂奇旻，打起球來不見生澀，基本動作扎實，是本屆新秀中最好的即戰力，受到閻家驊總教練和周俊三教練重用後，場上表現更進步，也反映在戰績上。

台啤本季最大的轉變是防守，有防守意識的人上場時間變多，控球後衛由蘇翊傑取代賴國維，防守能力更好，加上全聯盟最強的抄截部隊，侵略性十足。（記者張正邦）
