美國男籃隊繼續在紐約進行熱身賽，112：86戰勝來訪的波多黎各。

這場比賽，美國隊贏得輕鬆，下半場發力，拉出60：39攻勢，全隊有7人得分上雙，其中柯瑞（Stephen Curry）7投6中(三分球投5中4 )，得到全場最高的20分，蓋伊（Rudy Gay）和哈登（James Harden）各得13分，之前連續缺席訓練的羅斯（Derrick Rose）也復出。

波多黎各隊的JJ-巴里亞（J.J. Barea）得到全隊最高的16分。

首節比賽，雙方戰成24平，上半場，美國隊以52：47只領先5分。進入到第三節，美國隊進攻火力驟增，單節飆35分，一舉擴大了領先優勢。柯瑞5投4中、得13分；法里德（Kenneth Faried）也在第三節6投6中、得12分。雖然在最後時刻卡洛斯-阿羅約（Carlos Arroyo）和巴里亞各自為球隊奉獻12分，但是卻無力挽回敗局。
