兩大前鋒的對決中，洛夫（Kevin Love）繳出45分19籃板6助攻的逆天數據，比下葛瑞芬（Blake Griffin）32分10籃板4抄截及6犯離場。洛夫上半場22分9籃板，上半場結束前製造葛瑞芬投籃犯規，3罰全中。葛瑞芬20分5籃板。

上半場雙方8次打平，6次交換領先，兩隊僅差兩分，第四節最後26秒，快艇還落後5分，但隨後卻完成神奇逆襲，正規賽兩隊以106戰平，進入延長賽，洛夫一次防守中造成葛瑞芬進攻犯規，累積六犯離場。

本場兩隊上演飆分戰，洛夫、佩科維奇（Nikola Pekovic）和葛瑞芬在內線展開角力，但真正絕對比賽勝負的仍是保羅（Chris Paul），第四節終了前8秒的關鍵抄截，為球隊成功續命，延長賽，CP3又用關鍵罰球幫助快艇鎖定勝局。

快艇5連勝並保持對灰狼的8連勝。
