敬告籃網隊：NBA每場比賽正規時間是48分鐘，並非47分鐘59.8秒。縱使是垃圾時間，也不能憑空消失。

籃網以92比113慘敗給馬刺的那場比賽，讀秒階段，持球的籃網沒打算進攻，只是運著球，把時間走完，然後快步離開賽場，進到更衣室沖澡，準備回去休息。

然而「下課鐘聲」還沒響！籃網雖然不想攻、拖過24秒，但比賽時間還有0.2秒，裁判不能喊收工。不過，籃網隊員已經進到休息室，場上湊不到5個人，無法完成那0.2秒垃圾時間。

「球員們以為比賽已經結束了，」籃網總教練Jason Kidd說，「他們已經離開賽場了，裁判Tom Washington走過來跟我說，要不要喊個暫停，把人叫回來。」

Kidd照做了，喊暫停、擋一下，趕快叫人出來撐場面。只見Adrei Kirilenko、Joe Johnson慢條斯理走回來「換人」，然後馬刺把界外球發進來，結束比賽。
