雖然安東尼（Carmelo Anthony）在進攻上是虎頭蛇尾，但打出士氣的尼克，最終在客場以92：80戰勝小牛。

安東尼19分7籃板5助攻，肯揚-馬丁（Kenyon Martin）14分6籃板，巴格納尼（Andrea Bargnani）13分6籃板。

小牛有5人得分上雙，諾維茨基（Dirk Nowitzki）18分9籃板，艾利斯（Monta Ellis）和卡特（Vince Carter）各得13分。

安東尼開賽就發飆，首節就進帳15分。小牛首節後半段陷入困境，近4分鐘未能得分，尼克打出12：0攻勢拉大領先差距。首節以29：17領先。

看似要大爆發的安東尼此後狀態下滑，第二節和第三節都未能投進，只靠罰球得1分，不過，尼克已打出士氣，上半場以52：35領先17分。小牛在第三節幾度奮力追分，仍無法拉近比分，三節過後仍以57：67落後。

末節尼克有4分鐘未能得分，不過，小牛也沒把握好時機，舒伯特（Iman Shumpert）連拿5分，尼克在最後1分鐘又將領先擴大到兩位數，小牛隊換下主力繳械。
