去年12月5日對戰慘敗30分的布魯克林籃網，21日挾主控Deron Williams復出之勢，以103：80反將紐約尼克一軍，跨入2014年後總算討回顏面。

籃網從開局就保持領先，直到第4節也不手軟，靠著不斷的罰球在終場前將差距擴大到全場最多的23分。

「很明顯地，上次他們狠狠地羞辱了我們，今天必須反擊。」籃網Kevin Garnett出賽18分鐘，貢獻6分、6籃板。

籃網全隊有9人上場時間超過20分鐘，11位出賽球員都有得分紀錄，當中以Joe Johnson的25分、6籃板、5助攻最為亮眼。

Andray Blatche「雙十」19分、12籃板，Alan Anderson投進3記三分球，攻下15分，休息超過半個月的Williams從板凳出發，貢獻13分。

尼克團隊命中率低到剩33.8%，助攻只有13次，不僅砲管輸人，凝聚力也不像在主場作戰，吞下「馬丁路德紀念日」4連敗。

「這實在是很艱難的狀況。」攻下全場最高26分、但孤掌難鳴的尼克「甜瓜」Carmelo Anthony說：「我從來沒有遇過這種狀況。」
