5年9000萬 騎士強力留厄文

先前傳出克里夫蘭騎士打算以消極姿態面對主控Kyrie Irving即將成為自由球員的事實，不過現在球團還是會以頂級合約留住這位未來希望。
根據《Cleveland Plain Dealer》報導，騎士將在美國時間7月1日、聯盟開放球團與自由球員簽約的第一天向Irving提出5年9000萬美元的頂級合約，平均年薪1800萬。
騎士也做好最壞打算，如果會議中Irving不願接受合約，雙方將會開始探討交易事宜。
Irving的合約將到2015年結束，該報導認為，沒有任何球員會在走完新秀合約、等待兩年成為受限制自由球員後還拒絕母隊提出的頂級合約。
Irving本季年薪560.7萬，場均21.1分、3.7籃板、6.2助攻。
